About me
I am a theoretical evolutionary biologist from China (CV), and I am currently an EEB Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Ecology and Evolutioanry biology at the Univeristy of Toronto. I obtained my B.S. degree in physics at Peking University. I did my PhD studies under the advise of Dr. Maria Servedio (lab page) and Dr. Todd Vision (lab page) in the Department of Biology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel, and did my MS research in theoretical microeconomics under the advice of Dr. Fei Li (webpage) in the Department of Economics.
My research goal is to provide general evolutionary understanding of biological phenomena and generate predictions, with the scope of appllication to practical purposes. My rucrrent research focues on the evolution of reproductive systems and its consequences on key evolutionary processes, evolutionary rescue, sexual selection, and flowering strategies.
